Sascha Graumann Assumes Office as the Representative of UNICEF in Uzbekistan

Sascha Graumann has been appointed as UNICEF Representative for the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Sascha Graumann is a national of Germany. Before taking his position in Uzbekistan, he served as UNICEF Representative to Georgia for the last four years. In this capacity, he provided leadership in the development and implementation of the UNICEF Country Programme.

Prior to this, Sascha Graumann served the UN for a period of fifteen years in various capacities providing overall leadership to the programmatic activities and operations in Gaza, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia and Tajikistan.

Sascha Graumann graduated from the Technical University of Berlin and has a Master’s degree in economics.

In addition to German, Sascha Graumann is also fluent in English and Russian. He is married and has two children.
