Social budgeting for child wellbeing in Uzbekistan

This report analyzes the types and sources of funding for child-focused expenditure in the context of Uzbekistan. It reviews the legal framework for planning local budgets, their status, sources of revenues and spending discretion at the local level. The approaches and practices of drafting regional programmes in the context of children’s well-being and their monitoring are analyzed with a particular focus on the structure, sources of financing, and effectiveness of social benefits.

Global study on child poverty and disparities in Uzbekistan

This report has been prepared by a team of experts including representatives of NGOs and social organizations, analysts and government officials. Child Friendly Schools Manual
